Initially, our viticultural efforts were focused on growing 20 acres of fine wine grapes, and our winemaking efforts were as home winemaker- to make wine with friends for our own use and consumption. Much to our surprise, our recreational winemaking won numerous medals in amateur competitions. As a result, we were inundated with requests to buy our wine.
This led to the first commercial production in 2004, which won its first Gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Most of the 2004 production was sold, but a small lot was held back for additional aging. We are now re-releasing it, for you to enjoy. All of the wines from our next vintage in 2007 have also won Gold and Silver medals as listed below. I trust that you will enjoy our award winning wines as much as we do!
